Natalia Pivko was born in 1973 in Kursk, Russia.

The artist studied painting at the Art School Nicolas Roerich in St.Petersburg and at the National Academy in St.Petersburg (State Art and Industry Academy) focusing on book design and illustration. She then worked as an illustrator and art director at Volga Volga Brand Identity as well as at Pomellodesign in St.Petersburg.

Since 2012 she has been working as an independent artist. The artist lives and works in Latvia.
